Powerful & Purposeful

Be Who You Were Born to Be
This book shined a bright light on self-trust, being who you’re born to be, and walking through the fear that would keep us small. I identified strongly with each of the characters and their struggle, and celebrated tearfully, for each of their wins. I am grateful for this book. Although seemingly intended for men and the brotherhood, I took delivery of the message and feel a stronger, more self-aware, more respectful, and loving sense of self, as the witness to your characters' journeys to success.

What a healing and empowering read
The allegory used in this book is incredibly powerful and insightful. Coming from a Latin culture and a family where many of the women (including myself) "needed" to be in control in the home, out of fear and in many cases to the demise of the men around us,I can intimately relate to the journey of many of the characters in the book. Hey, I'm Eric
Chances are I was raised much like you were. Raised to be cautious and fearful. To play it safe, and to not express emotion, especially anger. I was told over and over to push down my beast, hide it, be more gentle. Be more civilized.
This made me confused, frustrated, angry. And sent me on a lifelong quest to find out what it meant to be a man… and if I was even qualified to call myself one.
I dove into martial arts, traveled the world on adventure trips, made as much money as I could, slept with as many women as I could. (And even wrote a bestselling book about it.) Anything to prove to myself I was a man.
And none of those things did. Because I was looking in the wrong place.
Fortunately I found a mentor who was raised by the kind of men I wanted to be like. Strong, confident, capable men.
And that mentor, Rob James, one of the leading experts in human consciousness and personal growth, guided me on the path to the man I am today. A path I'm still on. He's also the reason I'm committed to paying it forward by guiding men like you.
